On 8 Sep 2026 Meta Research published “Security and safety for AI agents: our approach with Muse”. Its footnote, anchored #hatch-name-footnote, reads: “Hatch is our internal name for Muse in the codebase.” The post names the Hatch daemon, hatch-safety and hatch-authd: the agent harness in a systemd-nspawn cell, the prompt-injection classifier, and credential storage.

The day Muse launched, Zhiqing Sun, lead agent research at Meta MSL TBD Lab and ex-OpenAI, quote-posted “why can’t you text ChatGPT from iMessage?” with a single word: Hatch. Three days later he called Muse Spark 1.3 “(Hatch)” in public.

Hatch is Meta’s internal codename for Muse, its personal AI agent launched on 8 September 2026. Meta’s own research post says so in a footnote, and the muse.ai client still ships with Hatch-named components. $MUSE is a community token built around that receipt.

02/ Is this affiliated with Meta or Muse?+

No. This site and the token are a community project. They are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Meta, Muse, or any person quoted here. The quotes are public posts, linked to their source.

03/ Which chain is $MUSE on, and what is the contract?+

Robinhood Chain, chain id 4663. The contract address is not public yet: it will be posted in the Contract section at launch, and on our X. Until then, any address claiming to be $MUSE is fake.

04/ How do I verify the claims on this page?+
